Summon creatures of the night allows you to raise them above their starting level with +1 to cast, but you only get 1 wound per Invocation of Nehek, as they aren't infantry. Seems odd that raising bats is more difficult than skeletons, but there you go. In WFB7 they...Are they even still easier to raise?
