The magos is finished, and just in time too. He takes to the table this weekend at BroCon, for a spot of Oldhammer shenanigans. He was a very satisfying miniature to rescue from the brink of destruction and return to the cabinet converted up and with a shiny new paint job. He takes to the part of magos very well I think, especially with the addition of some cables and his floating pal. He really needs a couple of servitors though, I am thinking...
Here he is with his minions ready for 'The Quickening' scenario.

This is nice - very nice! Great salvage job and great finish. And they look really good together - good proof that the color scheme is working.
ReplyDeleteI need my own cult - NOW! :)

Thanks Don. I am pretty happy with the scheme so far.
DeleteHe is superb !
ReplyDeleteThe vibrant and deep red of the robe is very nicely contarsted with the electric blue and the oxydated metals offer a good richness without confusing the whole model. The additions are just what was needed to take that superb model into another setting. This shows once again (but was it necessary) the quality of Jes Goodwin's sculpts.
That's a 10/10 for me.
Oh and I'm very glad th equickening is tested with such lovvely figures !
Most kind sir! I've rather taken to the new GW glazes. Very useful.
DeleteHopefully he'll give the other sensei a good belting this weekend.

ReplyDeleteCheers Frank. Much fun was had indeed! I'll pop up some photos later on.
